We are Bruno Mafrici and Ravinder Sagoo; two experienced specialist kidney dietitians offering online consultations for those diagnosed with kidney disease.

Dietitians are the only nutrition professionals who are trained and registered to provide dietary advice for medical conditions.

My name is Bruno and I have been a dietitian in the NHS for over 20 years.

I have extensive expertise and knowledge in all areas of CKD. I am keen to support people with kidney disease so they can adopt the most appropriate individual dietary approach.

As the previous Chair of the Renal Nutrition Group of the British Dietetic Association UK (2018-2022) and a volunteer at the UK Kidney Association, I am dedicated to dietetic and nutritional interventions for people with kidney disease.

As a senior lecturer in many UK universities and an author of scientific journals and books, I am keen to share my dietary knowledge base with a special interest in the role of Mediterranean diet in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

Ravinder Sagoo

My name is Ravinder and I have been a renal dietitian in the NHS for over 7 years.

I am incredibly passionate about nutrition in kidney disease with a particular interest in South Asian and African-Caribbean diets, I am very keen to ensure that diet advice is culturally appropriate.

As a multilingual dietitian, I volunteer a lot of my time in the local community speaking with those whose first language is not English about the impact of diet and kidney health.

I have an extensive insight into all the areas of kidney disease from diagnosis through to dialysis and transplant.

Having published articles and most recently a podcast on kidney disease and South Asian Diets, I’m eager to share my expertise and dietary recommendation and support lifestyle changes.
